90s Music Monday

I was confused by [info]burr86 post, is it 80s Friday or Monday? I saw this on VH1 the other day and remembered how much I used to like the song. It came out in 1989 and peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 list in 1990.

o/~ Dum, dum, dum, honey what have you done? Dum, dum, dum it's the sound of my gun. o/~

So early eighties that it's almost the seventies! It's been a stressful week, but nothing Siouxsie and the Banshees and a bottle of champagne won't cure. Woot.

o/~Harmful elements in the air...Symbols clashing everywhere~/o

This is from one of the first few bands that I saw live, after The Cure and Depeche Mode. Ah, the joyous era of post-punk, electronic dance music. I love that djs still play this song in clubs, albeit clubs full of aging 30-40 somethings doing the cha-cha-cha. But still, it's alive and kicking.

o/~ Every time I think of you, I get a shot right through into a bolt of blue o/~

Not sure how [info]burr86 video made me think of this song, but there you have it, a little hip-hop for your Friday morning:

o/~ Boy, you really got me going..You got me so I don't know what I'm doing o/~

Looking at all my picks for this meme, you can probably tell that the 80s were a time that I enjoyed wearing a lot of black, doc martins, and headbands. Oh and I danced in circles a lot. The dog scenes in this video are really action packed.
